The Brazilian butt lift

A Brazilian butt lift is an increasingly popular method of enhancing the buttocks and is less invasive than the more traditional bum lift implants. This surgical procedure involves the following steps

• Fat will be extracted from other areas of your body via liposuction
• The fat is processed and purified ready to be used
• The processed fat is injected back into your buttocks via a series of small injections
• The shape and size is carefully sculpted to ensure your desired results

The beauty of a Brazilian butt lift procedure is that it removes unwanted fat from the abdomen, waist, back and bra rolls to sculpt the entire abdominal and back region. The liposuction really cinches in the waist to enhance the buttocks even before the fat is reinjected. Next, the reinjection of fat into the buttocks, particularly the side of the buttocks produces the final results. Typically between 3 and 5 litres of fat is removes and around 1 litre of fat injected per buttock, of which around 50% remains after 3 months. Of course less or more fat can be injected depending on each patient's individual anatomy and look they are wishing to achieve.
